Gladys Maxine Farr

Mrs. Gladys Sargent Farr, age 81 of Hendersonville, formerly of Harriman, passed away Friday February 21, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jack Farr. Two daughters and one son-in-law: Linda Farr and Vicky and Ronnie Stockton. Her parents: Ira and Pernia Sargent. One sister: Pauline Farr. Two brothers: Bob and Otis Sargent. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law: Kathy and Buck Jarrell, Karen Farr and Robert Puckett and Jackie and Russell Olmstead. Six grandchildren: Ronnie and Tammy Stockton, Jeana and Chuck Moore, Crystal and Trei Clark, William and Rene Olmstead, Nicole Stewart and Fred Green, Samantha Olmstead and John Nipper. Eleven great grandchildren: Ashley and Andy Stockton, Madeline Moore, Heather, Hailey and Hannah Clark, Lexie, Luke and Miley Olmstead, Coltin and Jasper Olmstead and a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Sunday February 23, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Bro. Wayne Nelson officiating. Graveside services will be Monday afternoon at 2:00 PM in Coal Hill Cemetery.
