Geraldine McCoy

Mrs. Geraldine McCoy, age 72 of Oakdale, passed away Tuesday August 16, 2016 at Methodist Medical Center. Mrs. McCoy was a member of the Big Emory Church and she loved the Lord with all of her heart. She loved flowers and was a member of the Harriman Garden Club. She loved making trips to the smokies and spending time with her family. Mrs. McCoy never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her parents: Aubrey and Nancy Sylvester And two brothers: Jerry an Gary Sylvester She is survived by her husband of 57 years: Robert McCoy One daughter and son-in-law: Cindy and Steve Mathis Two grandchildren: Jessica and husband JR Voyles and Jonathan and wife Chelsea Mathis Three great grandchildren: Riley and Emily Voyles and Elijah Mathis One brother she loved dearly: Terry McCoy Special children: Donnie and Karen Payne and their family And a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends on Thursday August 18, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Bro. Neil Crass officiating. The family will meet at Crab Orchard Cemetery in Oakdale at 11:00 AM on Friday August 19, 2016 for graveside services. Davis Funeral Home, Harriman, in charge of arrangements.
