Geraldine Childs

Mrs. Geraldine Childs, age 64, of Oliver Springs, passed away Friday February 4, 2011 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. Geraldine was employed at Roane Hosiery Mill in Harriman for 34 years. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Harriman. She was preceded in death by her parents: K.D. and Lenore Collins. And one brother: Kenneth Collins. She is survived by her husband of 43 years: Shirley Childs. One son and daughter-in-law: Randy and Marcia Childs of Kingston. One daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Johnny Utley of Harriman. Three sisters: Mildred McKinney of Oliver Springs, Geneva Childs of Lake City, FL and Helen Farmer of Oliver Springs. One brother: Freddy Collins also of Oliver Springs. Six grandchildren: Brittany, Aaron, Tyler, Makenzie, Chloe and Logan. And a host nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Sunday February 6, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Carl "Sonny" Johnson and Rev. Bill Moore officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Harriman.
