George Edward Strickland

Mr. George E. Strickland, age 75 of Harriman passed away Monday October 18, 2010 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lloyd and Mary Belle Strickland. Two sisters: Linda Black and Lillian James. He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Evelyn Clinton Strickland. One son and daughter-in-law: Mike and Angie Strickland. Three Grandchildren: Brandon, Justin and Sarah Strickland. One niece: Cheryl Ellis. Brother-in-law: Dean Clinton and his wife Glenna. Two sisters-in-law: Gail and Ruby Clinton. And a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Wednesday October 20, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Eddie Neeley officiating. Family and friends will meet at Willard Park Cemetery Thursday morning at 11:00 AM for graveside services.
