George Delbert Douglas

Mr. George "Booger" Douglas, age 80, of Harriman, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at Roane Medical Center. He was a veteran of the US Army. Before his retirement, he worked for more than 30 years at Tennessee Forge and Steel Company and later at Bayou Steel.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Juanita Ruth Gilmore Douglas And one brother: Don Douglas.
He is survived by his three sisters: Lottie Stanfill, Jean Laymance, and Mary Bowser. Two brothers: Doyle and Gary Douglas, all of Jellico. Two grandsons: James West and his wife Debbie and Joshua Stafford. One granddaughter: Shelia Stafford. And a special friend: Stephanie Godsey, all of Harriman.
The family will receive friends Monday July 9, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Elverton Cemetery.
