Geneva "Betty" Aileen Ward

Mrs. Geneva Aileen "Betty" Ward, of Harriman peacefully left this world behind and went home to Heaven. She was known to many as simply "Granny". She loved her family and enjoyed taking good care of them for over 65 years. She raised two sons, two grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She was also a member of Cardiff Baptist Church and loved her Sunday school class dearly. As of Thursday, October 22, 2015, her life's work was completed and she was called home to rest.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Shorty Ward Her parents: John and Gladys Helton One brother: Shirley Helton And her daughter in law: Sue Ward.

She is survived by her two sons and daughters in law: Terry and Debbie Ward and James and Janie Ward One sister: Margaret Mills One brother: Bobby Helton Two grandchildren: Trampus and Jill Ward and Tabitha and Roger Breeden Three great grandchildren: Mason and McKenzie Breeden and Brantley Diggs And a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

From her oldest son to her youngest great grandchild, there stands 65 years of unconditional love

The family will receive friends Saturday October 24, 2015 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Graveside services will follow the funeral service in the Emory Heights Baptist Church Cemetery in Harriman.
