Mr. Frank Broyles, age 78 of Harriman, passed away Monday November 11, 2013 at his home. Frank was a Christian man and a faithful member of Emory Heights Missionary Baptist Church. He was born in Spring City, TN to the prominent Broyles family. His father was an inventor with several patents to his name. His grandfather, a Civil War veteran, was a school master in Spring City after the war. The football field and two streets in Spring City are named to honor the Broyles family.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Winfield Scott and Elizabeth Jane Marshall Broyles.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Joyce Robinson Broyles. Three sons: Steve, Scott and Chris Broyles. Two daughters: Peggy Wilson and Michelle Main. Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Wednesday November 13, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Emory Heights Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Charles Webb, Rev. Bill Daughtery, Rev. Bill Nolan, Rev. Charlie Brown, Rev. John Rogers, Jr. and Rev. Wayne Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Emory Heights Cemetery.
