Faye Evelyn Hill

Mrs. Faye Hill, age 78 of Oakdale, went home to be with her Lord Saturday September 1, 2012 at her home. She was a member of Pilot Mountain Missionary Baptist Church but attended Westside Baptist Church in Oakdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse and Flora Hamby. Her first husband: Ray Garrett. Two sons: Mike and Mitch Garrett. One sister: Lois Webb. And two brothers: Ralph and J.C. Hamby.
She is survived by her husband: Jack Hill. Four grandchildren: Adam Garrett, Danielle Rogers, Amanda Garrett and Leah Norris. Three sisters: Cheryl Northrup, Sue Bowers and Wanda Galloway. Two brothers: Bill Hamby and Jim Hamby. Three step-children: Delynn Hill, Richard Hill and Monica Rymer. And a host great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Tuesday September 4, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Pastor George Waldo officiating. Graveside services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 PM in the Sunbright Cemetery.
