Edward Presswood

Mr. Edward Presswood, Jr., age 69, of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday March 20, 2013 at the Harriman Care and Rehabilitation Center. He worked at Ausburn Transmission Repair for more than 13 years. Edward was a member of the Emory Gap Independent Church of God. A church that Edward helped to build as a teenager, along with his father and brothers.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Edward and Edna Presswood. Two sons: Michael and Dale Presswood One brother: Rufus Presswood And one grandson: William Kracht.
He is survived by his son: Joey Presswood. Two daughters: Tina and Lisa Presswood. One brother: Lee Roy Presswood all of Harriman. Five sisters and two brothers-in-law: Ruth Ann and Stanley Ausburn also of Harriman, Janice and Steve Mullins of Kingston, Cathy Cofer, Misty Presswood and April Bertram all also of Harriman. Seven grandchildren. His companion: Mildred Presswood and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Bro. Jerry Noe and Bro. Eugene Chaney officiating. Graveside services will be held at the Willard Park Cemetery on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
