Mr. Eddie Dean Schubert, age 72, of Harriman passed away Sunday October 25, 2020 at his home. He was an avid UT fan. Eddie worked and retired from IMCO Recycling after 12 years. Alongside his beloved wife, they owned and operated Chuck’s Deli in Harriman for 30 years. He was a proud Army Veteran serving his country from 1968 - 1971. During his time in the Army, Eddie fought in the Vietnam War from 1969 - 1971.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 44 years: Maxine Schubert.

Two sisters: Thelma Hickey and Nancy Doughty
One brother: Donald Schubert
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Eddie & Tracy Russell.
Twin daughters and son-in-law: Sonya & Jason Shillings, and Tonya Neeley.
Six granddaughters: Kaitlyn Russell, Harlea shillings, Madison Neely, Paighton Bruglio, Journee Bruglio and Ella Neely
Two sisters: Betty Julian and Peggy Clark
His special friends: James, Tommy and Gary Parks, Dano Davis, Possum Cooper, Jim Neely and Robert Arms

The family will receive friends Wednesday October 28, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Bro. Eddie Neeley officiating. Entombment will be Thursday October 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood
