Dixie Lee Duty

Mrs. Dixie Hall Duty, age 69 of Wartburg, passed away Tuesday December 11, 2012 at Roane Medical Center in Harriman. She was a member of Big Mountain Baptist Church. Dixie was a loving mother and grandmother and always had a smile on her face.
She was preceded in death by two husbands: Edsel Dalton Hall and Henry "Buster" Duty. Her parents: Virgil and Ruth Davis. One brother and sister: Virgil and Billie Jo Davis. And one sister: Lola Scarbro.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Misty and Malachi Frances. Three grandchildren: MacKeinzie, Micah and Hunter Francis. One brother and sister-in-law: Billy and Porcia Davis. Special nieces: Renita Armes and Kristin Ainsworth. And a host of other nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Thursday December 13, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM in the chapel of Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Brown and Rev. Brett Pollota officiating. Graveside services will be Friday morning at 11:00 AM in the Adams Hill Cemetery.
