Mr. David "Roy" Powell, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away November 5, 2015 at the Dayton VAMC. You could always depend upon us having fun & laughter on Friday Nights with pizza & a movie, which was shared with many. Thanks for the memories.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Bob and Mary Powell. And a special nephew: Patrick Clouse.

He is survived by his wife: Diane "Susan" Hensley Powell. Daughters: Melissa Maynard Ramsey and husband Jason of Oakdale And Kristi Powell Hutchison and husband Jeremy of Xenia, OH. 6 grandchildren: Shephanie, Jesse, Jackie, Kimmie Jo, Kaitlyn and Rebecca. 2 great grandchildren: Jayme and Lucy. 2 adopted grandchildren: Brianna and Lil' Jim Alred. Brothers and sisters: Dan and Beth Powell, Don and Joanne Powell, Deborah Clouse, Terry and Laura Powell, Jerry and Cheryl Powell, Don and Louise Hensley, Mary Ann Hensley, Eddie Hensley and CW and Cindy Wells. Mother-in-law: Mary Maynard.

The family will meet Tuesday November 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM in Mt Pisgah Cemetery for graveside services.
