David Allen Collins

Mr. David Allen Collins, age 58 of Harriman, passed away Saturday April 16, 2011 at Renaissance Terrace Care & Rehabilitation Center. He served in the Army from March 1972 until October 1973. He drove a cab for many years. He was preceded in death by his adopted parents: Rev. Amos and Jessie Johnson Collins. His parents: Hershel and Hazel Johnson Lunsford. Three sisters: Florence Brown, Jessie Collins and Sue Johnson. Eight brothers: James Amos, Jr. and Loyd Eugene Collins, Gene, Bobby, Billy, Jerry, Ronnie and Thomas Lunsford. He is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law: Jimmie and Helen Lunsford, Clyde and Bernice Collins all of Harriman, Paul and Brenda Collins of Michigan. One sister and brother-in-law: Betty and Charles Simpson of Jamestown. The family will receive friends Tuesday April 19, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 with Rev. Wayne Sexton officiating.
