David G. Anthony

Mr. David G. Anthony, age 74 of Oakdale passed away Tuesday May 20, 2014 at his home. He was born in Fall River, Massachusetts to the late Warren and Thelma Bradley Anthony and was a 1957 graduate of Rogers High School in Middletown, Rhode Island. David served four years in the United States Marine Corps and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After his service to our country, David worked for over 40 years as a Food Service Director and Consultant. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking and kayaking. Along with his parents David was also preceded in death by one brother: Warren Anthony. And one sister: Barbara Anthony. He is survived by: Anita Anthony of Oakdale. His son and daughter-in-law: Scott and Karen Anthony of Effingham, New Hampshire. His daughter: Wanda Drew of Hiram, Maine. One sister: Pauline Nunes of Warwick, Rhode Island. His granddaughter: Lauren Anthony of Effingham, New Hampshire. And the mother of his children: Kathy Anthony of Wolfboro, New Hampshire. Graveside services will be held Friday June 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Brannon-Kreis American Legion Post 149, 202 South Kingston Street, Wartburg, TN 37887.
