Clyde Edward Ashbrook

Mr. Clyde Edward "Eddie" Ashbrook, age 63 of Rockwood, passed away Sunday October 23, 2011at U.T. Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. For many years Eddie along with his wife Joyce, were foster parents for many children. He was preceded in death by his mother: Lois Inez Ashbrook. And his sister: Linda Ashbrook Raulston. He is survived by his wife of 42 years: Joyce Rayburn Ashbrook. His father: Clyde R. Ashbrook. Their children: Eddie and Kristie Ashbrook, Kristy and Steven Dunn, Stacia, Hannah and Emily Ashbrook all of Rockwood, Melanie Ashbrook, Andrew and Katlen Ladd all of Kingston. Two grandchildren: Brittany Lawson of Rockwood and Kyle Ladd of Kingston. A goddaughter: Natasha Suttles of Oak Ridge. One brother and sister-in-law: James and Claudia Ashbrook of Rockwood. A cousin, who was like a brother: Kenneth Hackler and a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Tuesday October 25, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the North Rockwood Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Wayne Burnett and Rev. Ben Whittenbarger officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday morning in Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood.
