Clifford Eugene Davis

Mr. Clifford Eugene Davis, age 81 of the High Point Community went home to be with the Lord Wednesday November 20, 2013 at Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of Emerald Lodge #377 F&AM in Wartburg and the Kerbela Shrine in Knoxville. He retired from General Motors.
He was preceded in death by his son: Alvin Eugene Davis. And six brothers: Johnny Davis, Leon, Harry, Lawrence, Wallace and Russell Barnett.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Garlan Davis. One son: Kirk Davis. Three sisters and one brother-in-law: Eva Bilbry, Marilyn and Freddy Newport all of Deer Lodge and Tracy Abbot of Sterling Heights, Michigan. Two brothers and one sister-in-law: Nolan and Margie Barnett of Lancing and Charles Barnett of Deer Lodge. And two sisters-in-law: Cherri Barnett of Deer Lodge and Lena Barnett of Lancing.
The family will receive friends Saturday November 23, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Pastor Danny Jones officiating. With a masonic services to follow. Graveside services will be Sunday at 2:00 PM in High Point Cemetery.
