Clayton Eugene Redmon

Mr. Clayton Redmon, age 81 of Oakdale, passed away Thursday October 21, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.  Clayton was a member of Mt Vernal Baptist Church.  He worked for 45 years and retired from Christmas Lumber Company and served on the Morgan County School Board for 12 years.  Clayton was a loving husband, father, papaw, and a devout Christian.

He is preceded in death by his parents: George & Dorothy Helton Redmon.

Daughter-in-law: Pam Redmon.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Nell Redmon.

Two sons: Mike Redmon and Tim Redmon.

Four grandchildren: Mikaela, Amber, Blake, and Clay.

Six great grandchildren: Colt, Lilly, Grady, Cooper, Jackson, and Miles.

And brothers, sisters, nieces, nephew, and other family and friends.

Funeral services well be Saturday October 23, 2021, at Mt. Vernal Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Bro. Mike Nelson officiating.  Graveside services followed in Mt. Vernal Baptist Church Cemetery.
