Clarisa Nevada Bowden

Mrs. Clarisa Bowden, age 76 of Harriman, passed away Wednesday June 29, 2016 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was born November 10, 1939 in Rockingham, NC to the late Jess and Flora Baxley Currie. She was a member of Trenton Street Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: William "Bill" Bowden. Her brother: James W. Currie. A nephew: Robert Long. And a brother-in-law: Melvin Long. She is survived by her one son and daughter-in-law: David and Emily Bowden. One daughter: Regina Bowden Trew. Two granddaughters: Hannah Bowden and Savannah Trew all of Harriman. And two sisters and a brother-in-law: Dorothy Long of Rockingham, NC and Lorene and Charles Wells of Climax, NC and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday July 2, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman with funeral services at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow in Roane Memorial Gardens.
