Mrs. Clarice Brown Powell, age 92 of Oakdale, passed away Friday August 30, 2013 at Roane Medical Center in Harriman.
She was preceded in death by her Husband: Jimmy Powell. Her daughter: Freida Harper. Her parents: Leonard and Ida Brown. Two brothers: Cecil and Marion Brown. And one sister: Lorene Walker.
She is survived by four brother: Marvin Brown of New Mexico, Jack Brown of Rockwood, Joe Brown of Robbins and Charles Brown of Oakdale. Three sisters: Babe Whittenbarger of Chattanooga, Sara Lou Brown and Elizabeth Bradley both of Oakdale. One grandson: Butch Harper and his wife Wanda. One granddaughter: Debbie Waters all of Houston, TX. And several nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Tuesday September 3, 2013 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Graveside services will follow in Crab Orchard Cemetery in Oakdale.
