Cherry Jean (Solomon) Frost

Mrs. Cherry Jean Solomon Frost “Momma Cherry” , born January 3, 1952, passed peacefully from this earth at 11:00 AM on January 7, 2021 at Tennova Healthcare Turkey Creek Medical Center from complications of COVID-19. At that moment, Heaven gained a beautiful soul. She endured a lot of trials with her health throughout her life, but she always seemed to put the well-being of others before her own. She touched the lives of so many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Harvey L. Solomon and Lula R. Frost
One brother: Steven A. Solomon
And one brother-in-law: Larry “Gib” Russell

She is survived by her children: Pamela Sweat (James), Michael Travis Frost and Cody Allen Frost (Rebecca).
Seven grandchildren: Bethany Sweat (Dylan), Brianna Sweat (CJ), Emily Sweat, Michael David Frost, Shelby, Caylee and Remington Frost
Two sisters: Rosa Lee Russell and Janise Solomon Humphreys (James)
One sister in law: Teresa Solomon
Extended family members: Jenny Wright and Courtney Linebarger
And a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the Roane County EMS, the medical staff at Tennova Healthcare Turkey Creek Medical Center, Kingston Dialysis and Harriman Care and Rehab for everything you have done over the years to help make things less stressful and more bearable. She loved all of you. Also, PLEASE HELP FIGHT THIS EVIL VIRUS before too many more succumb to it. Please do your part, wear your mask, and gloves if need be. PLEASE.
