Charles Edward Vought

Mr. Charles E. Vought, age 82 of Harriman, passed away Saturday April 21, 2012 at his home. He was employed at Roane Hosiery Mill in Harriman for more than 30 years. Charles later went to work at Y-12 in Oak Ridge where he retired in 1990. He was preceded in death by his parents: Samuel and Sally Vought. His first wife: Dorothy Vought. One brother: Robert Vought. One sister: Loretta Lyons. One son: Michael Kreis. And one grandson: Dusty Vought. He is survived by his wife: Ann Vought. Four sons: Sam and Terry Vought, Wade and Curtis Kreis. Four daughters: Charlene Trammell, Pat Wilcoxon, Sue Cromwell, Connie Potter and Suzanne Humphreys. One sister: Mary King. Ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Monday April 23, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 with Rev. Bill Nolan and Rev. Charles Webb officiating. Graveside services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in Roane Memorial Gardens.
