Charles H. Mullins

Mr. Charles "Moon" Mullins, age 88, of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday November 21, 2015 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Stella Mullins Three sisters: Willie Hicks, Bonnie Swicegood, Betty Johnson and Jo Hammonds And one brother: Fred Mullins. He is survived by his wife of 69 years: Mary Turner Mullins Three daughters: Faye Preston and her husband Ray, Mary Ann Samples and her husband Wayne, and Cathy Burdette and her husband Mark 6 grandchildren: Celeste Pelfrey and husband Rob, Casey Samples and wife Jessica, Karie Scott and husband Chris, Kelly O'Dell and husband Gene, Michael Goldston, and Wanda Helton One brother: Garland Mullins and his wife Glenna Two sisters: Shirley Harmon and Melba James And a host of other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends on Monday November 23, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Willard Gunter and Rev. Glen Leffew officiating. The interment will be held on Tuesday November 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
