Charles Dabbs

November 3, 1952 — September 5, 2019

Mr. Charles Dabbs, age 66, of Harriman passed away September 5, 2019 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville.  He was born November 3, 1952.  Charles served in the US Navy and worked at Union Carbide he also did home construction work before he became disabled.  He attended the Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing and playing chess.
He was preceded in death by his father: Wesley Dabbs.
Three sisters: Gracie Snodgrass, Faye Clemons, and Pearl Dabbs.
He is survived by his mother: Jane Clemons.
Five daughters: Renieca Dabbs of Chicago, Myra Dabbs of Knoxville, Sybil (Marcus) Jones of Washington DC, Candice Dabbs of Knoxville, and Sarah Dabbs of Illinois.
Six sisters: Patricia (Avine) Buttram, Kathy (Joe) Hodges, Doris (Darrell) Johnson, Betty Jackson, Tarsha (Adrain) Davis, and Alice (Vance) King.
Brother: John (Lorenda) Clemons.
And grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday September 14, 2019 at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 12:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Alvin Douglas officiating.   Interment will follow in Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
