Mr. Burlin “Duck” Arms, age 77, of Lancing, formerly of Waverly, Tennessee, passed away Friday May 6, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Burlin loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was retired from Nissan in Smyrna. Burlin served in the United States Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Cordell and Ervia Armes.
One sister: Marsha Jackson.
And one brother: John Armes.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years: Judy Diden Arms.
Five brothers: Steve, Jack, Paul, Roger, and Jeff Armes.
Seven sisters: Vivian Beaver, Mildred Carroll, Bonnie Armes, Sherry Carroll, Ava Byrge, Beverly Beasley, and Pam Bunch.
Along a host of nieces, nephews, and other family, friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends Sunday May 8, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 PM with Bro. Adam Garrett officiating. Graveside services will be Monday morning at 11:00 AAM in Morgan Memorial Gardens in Wartburg. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 149 Honor Guard.
