He was preceded in death by his mother: Patsy Hamby Lay. And father: Keith Burgess.
He is survived by one daughter: Amber Burgess. Wife: Roberta Burgess. Two brothers: Chet and wife Cathy Burgess and Frank Burgess. Sister Lynn and husband David Perella. And many friends and loved ones.
Clay requested that there be no services held.
