Bonny K. Austin

Mrs. Bonny Kate Austin, age 77, of Deer Lodge passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday March 8, 2017. She was born June 13, 1939 in Sunbright to the late Perry and Lottie Goad. Mrs. Austin was a member of Pine Grove Church of God in Crossville where she had served as a Sunday School teacher and Choir Director and also attended Revolution Church in Crossville. Mrs. Austin was a Charter Member of Sunbright Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Ora Austin. Her sister: Betty Rufner. And her brother: Gene Goad. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Rhonda and CW Mayes of Andersonville; son and a daughter-in-law: Roger and Amy Austin of Florence, SC; and son Bryan Austin of Deer Lodge. Two grandsons: John and Alyssa Austin of Chicago, IL and Perry Austin of Williamsburg, VA. One granddaughter: Brooke and Josh Cardwell of Crossville. Two great grandchildren: Elizabeth and Titus Cardwell. The family will receive friends Friday March 10, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Sunbright Church of God. A memorial service and celebration of life will follow at 7:00 PM with Pastor Josh Cardwell officiating. Graveside services will be Saturday morning at 10:00 AM at the Sunbright Cemetery.
