Bobbie Jean Underwood

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Underwood, age 78 of Harriman, passed away Friday September 20, 2013 at Renaissance Terrace. She owned and operated Jacks Cab Company in Harriman for over 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her step-son: William David Underwood. Two brothers: Hershell and Lloyd Cromwell And two sisters: Josie Weisgarber and Ruth Goss.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years: Bill Underwood. Four daughters and two sons-in-law: Pam and David Forrester, Pat and John Price all of Harriman, Tracy Gibson of Knoxville and Stephanie Gibson also of Harriman. One brother: Carl Cromwell. Three sisters: Barbara Oran, Betsy Canupp and Carol Brumley-Stewart. Nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family friends and loved ones.
The family will receive friends on Monday September 23, 2013 at Davis Funeral Home, Harriman, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in Piney Grove Cemetery.
