Mrs. Betty Jo "Floogie" Gillis Cook, age 81 of Kingston, passed away Thursday March 14, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Adelbert Cook. One son: Michael Cook. And one brother: Bob Gillis.
She is survived by one son: Ronald Cook of Poughkeepsie, NY. One granddaughter: Lindsey Cook of Philadelphia, PA. One daughter-in-law: Jean Scott Cook of Staatsburg, NY. Four sisters and two brothers-in-law: Mary Lou and Jim Cook of Harriman, Blanche Bell of Kingston, Willie Mae and Bill Marshall of Harriman and Eustine Humphreys of Rockwood. One brother: J.C. Gillis of Palestine, TX. A sister-in-law: Billie Ruth Gillis of Harriman and a host on nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones.
Family and friends will meet at 1:00 PM Sunday March 17, 2013 in Roane Memorial Gardens for a graveside service with Rev. David Harmon officiating.
