Audrey Marie Jeffers

Mrs. Audrey Marie Jeffers, age 70 of Oakdale, went home to be with the Lord Monday January 11, 2016 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. She was very loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by one son: Kevin Lee Jeffers. Her parents: Hugh and Eula Miller. One sister: Lillian Paxton. And two brothers: Billy and Bobby Miller. She is survived by her husband of 52 ½ glorious years: Vickey Ray Jeffers of Oakdale. Her son and daughter-in-law: Lester and Tammy Jeffers. And her grandson: Kevin Jeffers all of Ft. Worth, TX. Four brothers and three sisters-in-law: James and Leona Miller, Charles Miller and Donald and Pam Miller all of Oakdale, and Mike and Lori Miller of Friendsville, TN. Two sisters and one brother-in-law: Joyce Suggs of Rocky Face, GA, Barbara and Dean Kamer of Oakdale along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family, friends and loved ones. The family will receive friends Thursday January 14, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Davis Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 PM with Rev. Ralph Nance officiating. Graveside services will be Friday morning at 11:00 AM in the Crab Orchard Cemetery in Oakdale. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Cancer Research Hospital, Memphis, TN which Audrey supported for many years.
