Mrs. Anita Hampton Hamby, age 64 of Harriman, went home to be with the Lord on Friday December 27, 2024, at Methodist Medical Center. Anita’s lifelong passion was the piano. She was a beautiful pianist whose passion rang through the notes as she played. In her younger years she enjoyed working out in the garden. As she grew older, working the garden, transitioned to tending to her flowers and plants. Some would even say she had quite the “green thumb”. Anita not only loved gardening, but she also loved animals. Her most fond memories were composed throughout the years her family spent traveling and singing in different area churches. She was the type of person who was always only a phone call away. She loved her family and friends and was always there for them. She will be forever missed.
