Alvin Palmer

He is preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Colline Palmer And grandparents: Robert and Dora Ward.

He is survived by three sisters: June Cisson and husband Clyde, Virginia Rucker and husband Jerry, and Jan Farmer all of Kingston. Several nieces and nephews: Leslie Houston and husband Adam of Kingston, Shasta Davis and husband Matt of Harriman, Josh Franklin and wife Heather of Kingston, Tyler Franklin of Rockwood, and Marcus Farmer of Harriman. Several great nieces and nephews: Emma and Carter Houston of Kingston, Emily and Cilas Davis of Harriman, and Lexie Franklin of Kingston. A special cousin: Rita Potter of Morgan County Three special friends: Peggy Abbott, Donna McAbee, and Jean Meredith. And the special friends of Amedisys Hospice that took care of him.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 31, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM with Bro. Robert Potter, Bro. Greg Harper, and Bro. Larry Bolden officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday January 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Swan Pond Cemetery.

After the burial, the family requests that everyone meet down at Southwest Point Church in Kingston.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that everyone send donations to Davis Funeral Home to help with the expenses.
